The major difference between the Sims 2 console and the Sims 2 PC is that in the console version your Sims can't go through their entire life. Which means they are always adults, and never become elders or give birth to babies. You may also not build houses, you may only visit/live in premade houses, depends on the part of the storyline you are on now. And houses never have more than 1 floor. One of the advantages, though, is the fact that you get to play in first person, instead of third, and the gameplay and graphics are more interesting. Also there are more useable objects than in the Sims PC.
